utility to prevent text from wrapping and truncate overflowing text with an ellipsis (…) if needed:

This is the default browser behavior.
Prefix a text-overflow
utility with a breakpoint variant like md:
to only apply the utility at medium screen sizes and above:
<p class="text-ellipsis md:text-clip ..."> <!-- ... --></p>
